Rev. Karen Hatch
Interim Priest-in-Charge
The Reverend Karen Hatch was ordained a Priest in the Anglican Diocese of Toronto on December 20th, 2009. She was the Assistant Curate at St George’s on-the Hill and St Matthew’s, Islington before serving as Interim Priest in-Charge and Incumbent at St. Margaret in-the-Pines Anglican Church from 2011 until 2019. In 2014, she was also appointed the Priest-in-Charge of the St. Margaret’s Tamil Anglican Church for approximately one and half years and then appointed Priest-in-Charge of St. John the Divine on Scarborough Golf Club Road while continuing in her role as Incumbent of St. Margaret in-the-Pines. She went on to serve Trinity Aurora as their Incumbent from 2019 until 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Literature from the University of Toronto, a Master of Divinity from Wycliffe College (Toronto), and a Master of Pastoral Studies from Emmanuel College (Toronto). She has served on the Diocesan Trusts Committee, the Diocesan Council, Provincial Synod and Provincial Council. She has been married to her husband Brian for 31 years and they live in Richmond Hill with their cat Edward
