Cookie Baking for Sanctuary

Calling all Bakers and Kitchen Helpers!

This year as part of our outreach ministry, we are baking cookies for Sanctuary’s Christmas dinner on December 19. Sanctuary is a downtown church and community that provides street outreach, Sunday services, a health clinic and community meals to those in need.

We will be baking three kinds of cookies on two upcoming Saturdays, November 23 and November 30. Then on Saturday December 14, we will pack the cookie boxes for delivery.

If you are not able to join on those Saturdays but still love to bake, please consider baking one of our recipes or your own comparable one at home.

If you would like to help in the kitchen on baking or packing days or bake at your home, please sign up on the Google document or on the sign-up sheets in the Narthex on Sunday.

As always, any financial assistance is welcome to help with ingredients and supplies. Monetary donations can be made to the Church and noted for the “Sanctuary Cookies”.
